Garden Rooms that Make the Most of Awkward Spaces

Bespoke corner garden room used as a garden gym built in Hertfordshire

From triangular studios to corner garden offices, we design and build fully bespoke garden rooms for awkward, sloped, and unusually shaped plots - it’s what we do best.

If your garden isn’t flat, wide, or conveniently rectangular… don’t worry - bespoke garden room installers like us are here to help.

Whether you need a garden office that tucks neatly into an unusually shaped corner, or an insulated garden studio that fits perfectly into that awkward side return, we’ll work with the space you have, to create a garden room that works for you

Triangular or irregular rooms for awkward boundaries or wedge-shaped plots

Unusual garden room shapes aren’t just a design flex, when the standard cedar box just won’t cut it - they’re a necessity!

Want proof? We’ve built it…

This  triangular garden room was designed to slot into an awkwardly-angled corner of the garden, complete with heritage-style Crittall doors and windows, composite shadow gap cladding, and a skylight overhead. It’s now a seriously cool teen den that makes use of a space no one else knew what to do with.

Another project took an unused, sloping patch of garden and turned it into a custom-shaped garden room that works as both an office and a gym. With bifold doors and durable composite cladding, it’s as practical as it is good-looking,  and proof that tricky spaces can still deliver big results.

The Smart Way to Build on a Slope: Ground Screws

If your garden’s on a slope or a bit uneven, don’t worry — it’s not a dealbreaker.

In fact, it’s exactly the kind of challenge we’re set up to solve. Rather than pouring concrete or digging half your garden away, we use ground screws to create a strong, level base with minimal fuss.

Think of them like giant metal bolts that twist securely into the ground.

Each one can be adjusted individually, so we can create a perfectly level platform even if the terrain isn’t. They go in fast, don’t require heavy machinery, and work brilliantly on sloped or awkward sites, making them the go-to choice for tricky builds.

They’re also kinder to your garden than traditional foundations, with no big trenches or drying time. Just a rock-solid base that’s ready for your new space.

“Bespoke” Means a Garden Room Built Around You

When we say bespoke, we mean it. Every garden room we build is custom designed and built from the ground up - tailored to your space, your style, and what you actually want it to do.

No templates, no catalogue models, and definitely nothing flat-pack.

From layout and lighting to cladding and glazing, everything is made to measure and made to last.

Ready to Make the Most of Your Garden?

If your plot is sloped, narrow, oddly shaped or just plain awkward, you may have been told “It’s not possible’’ by most garden room companies.

We’re not most companies.

We specialise in garden rooms that work where others won’t - built from scratch, fully insulated, and designed to fit your space, not the other way around.
